Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAFe Scrum Master to join our team. You will lead and oversee program management services for a large scale, enterprise IT services global contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a rapidly changing environment. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities include but limited to:
- Act as a servant leader and coach for a SAFe Agile team.
- Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of Agile practices in an Agile program.
- Identify and provide trainings to promote Agile maturity.
- Facilitate the core Agile team events and best practices (Planning, Retrospective, Refinement, Review/Demo, Team Sync)
- Work with Product Owners to identify priorities,
- Work collaboratively among cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Basic Qualifications:
- A certified SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach
- A bachelors degree
- A minimum of (2) two years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Previous agile experience, particularly Scrum and Kanban
- Experience working on large-scale programs with multiple Agile teams
- Experience with or knowledge of SAFe Agile
- Experience with Agile tools such as: Jira, Mural, Confluence, and Whiteboard for planning and tracking work performed by teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- A certified SAFe Agilist
- A certified SAFe for Teams
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
