ManTech seeks a Robotics and Unmanned Systems Integration Course (RUSIC) Instructor to join our team supporting our growing Defense Sector and Special Operations programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs as a Subject matter expert for the Robotics and Unmanned Systems Integration Course which trains and educates Special Operation Force (SOF) soldiers and select Inter-Agency personnel in the skills and competencies necessary to Operate and mitigate unmanned robotic platforms IAW FAA guidelines IOT return to their units as a certified “Army Master Trainer” with Program of Record (PoR) sUAS/cUAS equipment.
Conduct research and analysis to identify and recommend solutions to improve SOF training and education; organize collaborative activities and promote other linkages between the Government, academia, and industry; and provide independent technical recommendations and advice to meet Army SOF educational objectives. Conduct multi-discipline research and analysis to recommend training solutions and training scenarios for special warfare and irregular warfare. Focus areas shall include robotics and sUAS.
Conduct non-routine training and educational instruction on course curriculum; emerging TTPs; and STI developed during C4ISR research and analysis. Typical instruction would be conducted in a small setting, typically with no more than twenty students, and in short duration to discuss emerging research and TTPs.
Assess training and exercise events through observation and develop recommendations for sustained future operations. Arrange and facilitate After-Action Review (AAR) and lessons learned meetings to review events and associated deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Degree can be replaced with 10 years of experience.
Five or more years of experience within the special operations or interagency communities with specific responsibilities within one or more of these primary areas:
Operation or Strategic-level Mission Planning
Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
Analysis and Targeting • Intelligence Collection
Cyber-enabled operations • Information Operations or Information-Related Capabilities
Operational or Strategic Planning and Policy
Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning
sUAS
Shall be a graduate of the ABIC, SOIC, the ITC, or DoD or interagency equivalent (must be verifiable by the training organization leadership) and shall possess a valid state driver's license without any prior felony convictions or a history of moving traffic violations within the last five years.
Comfortable speaking to large classrooms and communicate instructions effectively.
Able to breakdown topics and concepts to better relay them in the simplest form.
Be a self-starter, able to take self-initiative to identify skill or knowledge gaps and devise a solution.

Physical Requirements:
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which involves delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
