Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analyst II to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive research, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
Utilizing analytical skills and attention to detail to contribute to the success of the organization's research initiatives.
Conducting in-depth research on various topics, such as market trends, industry analysis, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
Gathering data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research, and analyzing and interpreting data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques.
Identifying key trends, patterns, and insights from research findings and developing reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate the research findings to stakeholders.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Staying up to date on industry developments, best practices, and emerging research methodologies.
Assisting in the design and implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection, and supporting the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.
Taking direction from more senior personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline and four (4) years of position-specific relevant experience.
Proven experience as a research analyst or similar role, preferably in a professional setting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data. Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
Experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis.
Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis. Knowledge of data collection and survey design.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
