ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Manager to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.
Ensures products adhere to quality standards.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Works according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
Trains and manages production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of products.
Tracks products through the development process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.
Performs detailed and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring the products are up to requirements and user needs.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and software development risk reduction activities.
Supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business field or additional 4+ years experience.
5 years of position-relevant work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Project.
Experience in a Government QA project environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing quality management with software development and IT service management projects.
Relevant industry standard certifications such as Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or PMP. Experience auditing to external quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, AS9100, and CMMI development.
Experience with peer reviews and process auditing. Experience collecting and analyzing metrics.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
