MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. This is a remote position.

This is a technical position with an Agile Scrum team that will require a broad scope of skills and knowledge of DoD systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engage with stakeholders, such as business analysts, product owners, and end-users, to understand their needs and translate them into clear and testable requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Data Services team to vet and refine requirements. Capture and document all new requirements accurately.

  • Design test cases, test data, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage using software testing principles and methodologies. Document test results ensuring all relevant information is captured.

  • Guide and mentor product-level leads and other QAs in the organization.

  • Support in transitioning requirements for day-to-day tracking and execution. Track and manage requirements using management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar systems.

  • Ensures data privacy regulations and security best practices are in place when dealing with sensitive data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least fours years of professional experience as a Quality Tester, Business Analyst or similar role with at least one year of hands-on experience with Test Automation development using Selenium or similar frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of data services, including data pipelines, data storage, and data processing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience in maintaining and prioritizing a backlog of requirements for Data Services.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, for efficient backlog management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical and programmatic questions effectively.

  • Good organizational skills and knowledge of the latest best practices and technologies are required to interact with customer representatives posing high emphasis on communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with relevant programming languages, databases, and data integration tools.

  • Strong experience in programming languages such as Java.

  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of military health systems, along with the positive track record in the DHA (Defense Health Agency) customer space.

  • Knowledge of Metronome or other project management tools for tracking project progress.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an interim secret prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


The projected compensation range for this position is $68,800.00-$114,700.00.
