ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our vehicle sustainment team in Erbil, Iraq. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for assisting more senior quality assurance positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

  • Under direction, facilitates development of a quality assurance program and oversees inspections and corrective action plans that meet or exceed maintenance and supply standards.

  • Performs quality assurance for all work performed within assigned mission areas.

  • Inspects work in progress and record observations.

  • Prepares corrective action plans based on data, observations, and reports.

  • Submits recommendations for any required training to improve quality control processes or skills to correct identified deficiencies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Selected candidates must be a US Citizen.

  • Five (5) years of quality assurance experience.

  • Experience providing administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, or task.

  • Experience preparing and managing correspondence, reports and documents, implementing and maintaining office systems, schedules and calendars, handling incoming mail and other material, setting up and maintaining file systems, collating information, and maintaining databases.

  • Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems.

  • Experience auditing internal policies/procedures and recommending process improvement initiatives.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
