Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Protective Technology Branch (PTB) Operations Manager (Training) to join our team in the Northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive PTB-wide training program in support of branch requirements, coordinating and collaborating with all Section leads and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Develop standardized templates for training objectives, aids, plans, curriculums, delivery, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with PTB sections to implement, coordinate, and conduct and/or facilitate training across PTB to support leader development.
  • Conduct regular review and analysis of published training (plans, curriculum, templates, etc.) to evaluate effectiveness and ensure quality assurance requirements are met.
  • Apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to training plans as needed to ensure internal controls are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the PTB SharePoint SME to evolve virtual learning tools and maintain the ‘PTB Training Hub’ SharePoint site that consolidates all PTB training tools and offerings.
  • Design an electronic repository to maintain status of all PTB personnel’s training completion status.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5) + years of programmatic experience in support of the PTB mission.
  • Experience in creating training curricula, conducting, and evaluating technical training.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
  • Capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years as a Project Manager
  • Completed DS115 ‘Instructor Development Course
  • May be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25% of the calendar year to attend or conduct training events.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current US Government Secret Personnel Security Clearance.
  • A Top-Secret clearance may be required to meet changing requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • May have to remain in a stationary position to deliver training and presentations.
