ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director, Orals Coach to join our Proposal Operations team. This is a remote position with in-office requirements for orals solution development and team rehearsals.
ManTech's Proposal Operations is a centralized, enterprise-wide talent base responsible for designing, evolving, managing, and executing ManTech's proposal best practices across the entire business development lifecycle. This position offers the chance to directly impact our success by developing winning presentations that demonstrate our solutions and value to our government clients. The Orals Director and Coach will guide and train teams to create compliant and compelling presentations and rehearse presenters to deliver oral presentations in government-prescribed formats with varied requirements or blind scenarios.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing winning orals presentations for government clients including slides and talking points.
- Training and guiding teams on the orals presentation process.
- Translating complex technical information into understandable content.
- Collaborating with proposal teams and subject matter experts.
- Managing orals presentation schedules and deliverables.
- Conducting orals presentation rehearsals.
- Providing constructive feedback and coaching to presenters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of direct Orals Coach experience and 10+ years total of proposal management, sales, capture, or business development experience with a federal contractor.
- Demonstrated success in developing winning orals presentations for government clients.
- Strong understanding of the government proposal process.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information effectively.
- Experience working with diverse teams and subject matter experts.
- Proficiency in presentation software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience architecting solutions for large, complex bids
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing
- Association of Proposal Management Professional (APMP) Certification(s)
- Shipley Certification(s)
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
