Description & Requirements
ManTech's Navy Aviation Division is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area to support the Cost & Schedule Analysis Department. This position must be able to report to customer site. A hybrid schedule may be available once fully integrated into the team and dependent on the customer schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collecting requirements from technical subject matter experts and translating into information used to develop and maintain an integrated government schedule (IGS)
Evaluating project documentation such as Statements of Work (SOW), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), industry Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to identify information relevant to the integrated government schedule
Analyzing schedule data related to programs/projects and/or processes using MS Project and MS Excel
Formatting and presenting schedule information and data using OnePager Professional, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
Facilitating meetings in support of schedule processes, which include various program or project stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in areas related to Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering or Associate’s Degree may be substituted with 8+ years of experience or HS Diploma may be substituted with 10+ years of experience
Experience with networked schedule development, critical path method, baseline and status using milestones, task, duration, lead/lag, and other standard data points/aspects of schedule development, maintenance, and analysis
Experience using MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Preferred Qualifications:
A master’s degree in areas related to math, science, statistics, business, management, or engineering
Experience with OnePager Professional
Experience with MS Power BI
Knowledge and familiarity with DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
Knowledge and familiarity with aircraft and weapons systems
Experience with technical program management support
Experience interfacing with senior level clients, providing analysis of schedule, schedule drivers/impacts, and providing possible improvement/resolution/mitigation solutions
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance to start
Physical Requirements:
Tasking is primarily computer based.
The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS)
