ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager - IT/PPBE to join our team in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead collaboration between customers and project stakeholders to define project requirements, ensuring alignment with overall program goals while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Drive project execution by monitoring progress, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Direct all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, staffing, and budgeting, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of contractual commitments.
Mentor and supervise program/project teams, managing resource allocation and driving performance to meet and exceed goals.
Demonstrate project value by documenting the business case, quantifying outcomes, and securing customer validation of ROI.
Establish and enforce work standards, manage contractor schedules, and resolve discrepancies to ensure quality and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information technology, or a related field coupled with 8+ years of software and/or finance experience.
10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the IT or Government contracting sector.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Proven experience managing software development projects, specifically government implementations of financial management systems such as OneStream (highly preferred) or other Corporate Performance Management platforms.
Direct experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process within U.S. federal government agencies.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.
Experience with various government contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M).
Advanced certifications, such as those related to Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
Experience presenting project status, risks, and proposals to general staff or senior executive-level government officials.
Experience in identifying strategic business opportunities with customers, partners, and current projects.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Top Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and
customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
