Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Maryland

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage software tools in support of Enterprise Management on the Enterprise IT Operations (EITO) MASH Project.

  • Provides support to install/deploy, configure, test, debug, maintain, and troubleshoot OpenStack software in support of support customer requirements.

  • Conducts program installation/deployment, configuration, modification, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation of OpenStack to prepare them for deployment in customer specified hardware regions.

  • Evaluates OpenStack project for inclusion in region deployments.

  • Tests/automates testing of provided hardware for acceptance testing to ensure it is properly configured for OpenStack deployment.

  • Writes, tests, and automates testing of OpenStack and APIs to ensure proper operation in specified hardware regions.

  • Upgrade current regions to remain inside the supported release list (called SLURP upgrade).

  • Provide technical support to the operations team as needed to support existing infrastructure.

  • Support metrics organization in both new and old regions, using Gnocchi for new regions and custom metric solutions for existing installations.

  • Conduct program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation using Python, Python Flask, and Golang.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

  • Work individually or as part of a team.

  • Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

  • Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.

  • Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

  • Experience with Agile software development practices and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Twelve (12) years’ experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Openstack components/tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Gnocchi Time Series Database

  • Database: MySQL/MariaDB

  • Development tools/Programming languages: Python, Golang

  • Tools: Gitlab CI, Jira

  • Knowledge needed of: Networking, DNS, DHCP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Twenty (20) years of relevant with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Openstack components/tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Cinder (netapp & ceph), Nova, Neutron, Horizon

  • Database: MySQL/MariaDB

  • Development tools/Programming languages: Python Flask, Erlang, PXE, JSON/YAML, Ansible, Puppet, Ansible, Kolla-ansible, Docker

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

The projected compensation range for this position is $102,700.00-$170,800.00.
