ManTech seeks a Project Manager to support the Program Management Office on our contract with the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Science & Technology Division in Stafford, VA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports ICD 705 TF leadership, SMEs, other government, and industry partners, as the lead project coordinator in support of structure requirements, designs, and execution to establish semi-permanent ICD 705 structure capabilities for units across the Marine Corps.
Project management for these efforts includes planning, coordination, and/or oversight across all aspects of the projects including assistance Integrate project planning with supporting TF staff, TF Program Team, prime support government organizations and contractors, and specialty subcontractors.
Interface with applicable Marine Corps Installation, Marine Corps units, local stakeholders, contractors, integrators, and government personnel relevant to specific site.
Coordinate all meetings in relation to the program overall and specific projects as required.
Responsible for ensuring the synchronization and integration of all interdependencies into a single Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) (Master Schedule) overview to inform all performers and the larger community of interest.
Assist receiving units and TF determine the best capabilities to host from these structures as Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) evolve.
Assist the TF Program Office plan sustainment these structures until they are turned over to the receiving units; be prepared to support post turn over.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
A total of 12 years’ experience without a degree
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years or more experience supporting DoD programs/projects, preferably direct experience supporting ICD 705 structure requirements, construction and/or life-cycle management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (current) preferred.
Working knowledge and experience working/coordinating with senior commands in the Marine Corps, including MEF and MCICOM.
Defense Acquisition Level III or Level II in Program Management or Logistics preferred
Clearance Requirements:
Current active TS/SCI security clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
