ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Control Analyst to join our team in Chesapeake, VA.  This is a hybrid position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented member to join our team and be at the forefront of innovation for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)!  As a team member, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for financial analysis, operations, and reporting across the NCTE enterprise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide project financial control support to Project and Program Managers to successfully plan and execute assigned projects. Analyze project problems and recommend resolutions.

  • Analyze project data, determine potential risks and challenges, and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

  • Determine project forecasts and accruals and monitor cash flow projections.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in developing plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage Program funding. Support customer cost management and optimization.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve financial discrepancies.  Monitor project status on regular basis and develop status reports to management.

  • Prepare and present accurate and concise financial reports, presentations, and dashboards.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and understanding of Government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., FAR).

  • Experience with financial accounting and reporting systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI and associated querying operations for data transformation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in a US Government environment, DoD preferred.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar project management tools.

  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.

  • Experience with forecasting analysis techniques and tools.

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Constantly operates a computer and associated office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
