ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer oriented Process Improvement Engineer to join our team in Springfield, Virginia!
This position supports the Office of GEOINT Functional Management (G), Assessments Team. This position provides the government with independent assessments, evaluations, and reviews of Intel policy, programs, and operations. Gather and analyze information, identify areas for improvement, draft findings, and recommendations, and prepare reports and other products in accordance with guidance and professional standards. During the reevaluation period they will follow up on report recommendations to determine if appropriate corrective actions are identified and implemented.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Provide the government with independent assessments, evaluations, and reviews of NSG and NGA policy, programs, and operations.
- Gather and analyze information, identify areas for improvement, draft findings, and recommendations, and prepare reports and other products in accordance with guidance and professional standards.
- During the reevaluation period, follow up on report recommendations to determine if appropriate corrective actions are identified and implemented.
- Conduct and prepare assessments. Responsible for finalizing assessment reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 11+ years of process improvement/strategic operations experience; or 15 years in lieu of a degree
- Experience in general office management/staff officer duties.
- Experience in gathering information and critical thinking capacity to synthesize information.
- Ability to support administrative activities and scheduling for corporate support events
- Ability to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare assessments
- Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office Applications
Preferred Qualificatios:
- Understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG)
- Knowledge of NGA, its Key Components, directorates, offices, and programs.
- Experience as a Systems Engineer
Security Clarance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- Able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier, scanner, and computer printer.
- Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
