ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Cyber Support Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Engineer, design, and maintain cybersecurity relevant features & capabilities using windows and cloud vendor capabilities, services, platforms, and 3rd party vendor cloud products to align and support NIST cybersecurity framework.
Integrate security solutions with existing on-premises operational cybersecurity platforms.
Work to automate cybersecurity-related workflows.
Develop solution patterns with cloud-managed resources and features,
Implement automated solutions related to Security-Orchestration-Automation-and-Response (SOAR).
Provide data analytics support and data science subject matter expertise for specialized cybersecurity applications and big data analytical systems.
Provide input and assist with architecture design and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years additional cyber engineering experience in lieu of degree
Experience with Node.js or Python, Linux scripting, Bash, Git, Gitlab, and/or CI/CD Pipeline
Experience with integrating data protection / encrypt-decrypt capabilities to support data confidentiality and integrity requirements.
Experience with setting up and supporting various IDEs needed to support work tasks.
Experience with installation and administration of COTS applications on RHEL and/ or CentOS Linux
Experience with design and development of Elastic Beats and/or Logstasll configurations to enable the data collection to either accept or extract data from an audit generation system such as an application database, file, or syslog stream.
IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development in Azure and/or Oracle Cloud
Experience with streaming data tools and software, such as Apache or Confluent Kafka
Experience with Data Integration, Data Engineering and Data Lake implementations using ETL, Big Data and Cloud Technology.
Experience with JIRA Confluence
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to establish and implement a Data Governance Workflow focusing primarily on meta data, data sources, data quality, policies, and procedures. stream
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
