Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operations/Research Analyst to join our team onsite at Hill AFB, UT. This will be supporting the F-16 IAIS Product Support Integration effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and directing the analyses of management problems.
  • Performing cost analyses and modeling.
  • Providing information requirements and the formulating of scientific solutions as directed.
  • Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion.
  • Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management.
  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise.
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses analytical thinking, tools, and judgement to identify innovative solutions.
  • Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by department objectives.
  • Communicates complex concepts; anticipates potential objections and influences others to adopt a different point of view.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ten years of experience, or four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects from initiation through completion.
  • Experience leading or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, and progress reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • F-16 avionics experience
  • Automatic Test Equipment experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
