Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Model-Based Operations Research Analyst, Journeyman to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the study and analysis of technological challenges related to engineering/scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment utilizing MBSE practices.

  • Responsible for designing and executing procedures for experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons utilizing mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques.

  • Provide results of analysis in report/presentation format to client stakeholders and decision makers.

  • May provide direction to junior level analysts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess an Bachelor of Art (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Management, Technical, or Scientific area

  • Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology

  • Experience with MBSE practices and MBSE tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Cameo Collaborator, and Teamwork Cloud

  • Must have experience with use of SysML

  • Must understand the engineering lifecycle and MBSE’s impact on system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation

  • Must have experience working in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • This is an onsite position. Must be able to report to work location five (5) days per week

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract

Physical Requirements:

  • Tasking is primarily computer based

  • The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods


The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300.00-$133,100.00.
