ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD.  This is an on-site position Hanover and or Annapolis Junction. Occasional travel to DMV and mid-western states as needed. Travel up to 25% from the Baltimore area.
 

This position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance and operation of ManTech’s customer network, as well as supporting ManTech’s corporate network. Support all switches, servers, desktop, printers, phones, peripherals and storage infrastructure. Ensures that the network and all related equipment are functional to accommodate system users.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Installs, configures, tests and maintains servers, SAN, and related networking equipment.
  • Monitors scheduled jobs and computer output for completeness, accuracy, and errors and performs all critical data backups and secures data according to established procedures.
  • Installs firmware and security updates on servers, printers, and related networking equipment.
  • Configures and maintains Microsoft Active Directory. Installs, configures and maintains IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, AntiMalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection. 
  • Maintain Zoom, VoIP, and any related equipment, services, and platforms.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with ManTech and / or Customer network, Computer hardware and assists with software upgrades and installations and creates scripts for automation of common tasks.
  • Maintains all data used for redundancy efforts and assists with remediation efforts as result of test findings and risk assessments. Logs all computer, terminal, and printer hardware/software problems. Calls appropriate maintenance organizations and arranges for repair. Notifies supervisor of unusual problems.
  • Provides support to operational staff and other associates as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related IT specialization.
  • Requires at least 3 years of similar or related experience. Experience and professional certification may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Certification requirements: CCNA and or Network +, MCSE, Security +
  • Must maintain 8570-M Compliance
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required and an active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, carry or pull.
  • Climb, bend or squat on occasion.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 20-35 pounds and occasionally lift or pull 35-80 pounds.


The projected compensation range for this position is $112,400.00-$186,500.00.
