Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Security Lead to join our team at Crane, IN.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with our government customer to create dashboards in Splunk to discover their cyber risks, understand system vulnerabilities, and report on federally mandated actions

  • Utilize dashboards for data analysis and reporting

  • Develop and disseminate key dashboard information in ways that prioritize risk mitigation

  • Oversees, evaluates, and supports the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing information technology (IT) systems meet the organization’s information assurance (IA) and security requirements

  • Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and monitoring assurance from internal and external perspectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One of the following: CISSP, CASP, or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-3 certification is required

  • BS in Cybersecurity of Computer Science

  • 7+ (Seven) years minimum of related IT experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ (Five) years of professional experience in network security of an enterprise network

  • Must have working knowledge and experience with firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Host Based Security Systems, and proxy

  • Ability to analyze IT Security monitoring and reporting requirements and define, design, develop, maintain, or improve Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts

  • Knowledge of IT Security tools such as Nessus

  • Experience as a Splunk Dashboard Developer

  • Experience working with a team, but also leading projects and interacting with the customer

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Secret security clearance or able to obtain Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
