MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.
 

In this role, you will contribute to a mission-focused team that will support military operators and mission partners by supporting network design, configuration, and infrastructure operations for complex systems in support of national security objectives. You will work closely with engineering teams to implement secure, scalable solutions, while providing critical expertise in network troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

• Monitoring the network to ensure network availability to all system users and performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.

• As part of the Cyber Operations Team, leading the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the enterprise network infrastructure.

• Overseeing network operations, managing complex network projects, and serving as the primary escalation point for all network-related issues.

• Developing and implementing network policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

• 9+ years of experience in network engineering, administration, or related discipline

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment and network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)

• Proficiency in configuring and managing network security appliances (firewalls, IDS/IPS)

• Experience supporting DoW or IC networks and environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a related discipline.

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certification strongly preferred

• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)

• Prior experience supporting classified environments or tactical networks

• Knowledge of DISA STIGs, RMF, and cybersecurity best practices

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
