Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Management Specialist III to join our team in the DMV area.  We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

  • The Management Specialist III manages task assignment and management staff for Program Administration and Deployment processes.

  • They lead communication and coordination with individual employees, Senior Management Specialists, PMO, Government entities (when required), and other relevant groups.

  • Their duties include management of data, personnel tracking and accountability, and issuing LOAs and CACs.

  • This senior-level role requires advanced administrative skills and personnel management experience, including the ability to prioritize work tasks in accordance with internal processes and procedures.

  • The Management Specialist III provides supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff members.

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Total of 9 years of relevant experience.

  • High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

  • A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline. 

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint.

  • A current/active TS/SCI security clearance w/ Polygraph is preferred.

 

Clearance Requirements:  

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
