ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our vehicle sustainment team in Djibouti. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs all functional duties independently in support of ALECS maintenance operations.
Plans, directs, or coordinates the ALECS maintenance operations for assigned Technical Directional Letter organizations.
Formulates maintenance policies, managing daily maintenance operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
Works with functional area leads on the management or administration of personnel and property.
Utilizes LogMASTRE as required.
Communicates verbal and written disciplines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Selected candidates must be a US Citizen.
4+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 8+ years of qualified experience and a trade school certification or associate degree in a related field (OR) 10+ years of qualified experience.
Maintenance, repair, and technical experience, as well as knowledge of industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance, or military maintenance.
Experience providing formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.
Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting experience to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.
Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferred.
Prior training or experience on Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 (GMV 1.1)
Prior training or experience Non – Standard Commercial Vehicles (NSCV) i.e. Toyota, Polaris.
Prior training on the CROWS Weapon Station.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to work in high noise areas.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
