ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Administrative Assistant to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs administrative duties in a staff activity
Performs specialized assignments relating to typing, word processing, graphics illustration using computers, with very little direction
Prepares correspondence, schedules, and coordinates travel
Assists in the preparation of documents such as 1149 and analyze consolidation of inventory reports
Assists with the onboarding of new Buyers and Logistics Personal
Be able to maintain and regularly update a detailed budget spreadsheet, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures for shipments and procurements, and budget allocations across project procurements
Accurately input and update inventory information into an asset database, ensuring all assets are properly documented with the relevant details such as item description, quantity, location, and status
Assisting with the coordination of shipments and deliveries, including tracking and monitoring inventory levels
Developing standard operation procedures (SOPs) that will be executed across the logistics and procurement teams
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of Administrative Assistant experience
Experience in material procurement and purchase card practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates competency with policy, procedures, equipment, and supplies
Warehouse experience is preferred
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management system tasking such as 1149’s and ERP systems
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship is required and an active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee
Must be able to push, pull, and reach
Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
