Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistician to join The position will be supporting the F-16 IAIS Product Support Integration effort. This is a remote position supporting the team at Hill AFB, UT.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
  • Develops, refines, analyzes, and issues logistics policies for assigned programs applicable to one or more DoD components.
  • Knowledge of automated logistics systems.
  • FMS subject matter expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
  • Provides expert advice related to FMS case management issues and ascertains that overall program performance is achieved as projected.
  • Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition and logistics management processes and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods.
  • Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DoD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the logistics management program processes.
  • Skill in staff level planning, organizing, and overseeing critical aspects of development, production, and support of systems, subsystems, or equipment.
  • Ability to integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of logistics functions in support of research, development, production, and support of a system, subsystem, or equipment.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of experience, or four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • F-16 avionics experience
  • Automatic Test Equipment experience

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $59,400.00-$98,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
