We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Combat Systems Test Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren, VA.
Summary:
Join ManTech International and contribute to our mission of supporting the certification of Littoral Combat Systems (LCS) for both Independence and Freedom variants. As an LCS Combat Systems Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the combat systems meet the government's fleet deployment standards. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team and contribute to critical testing and evaluation efforts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct test and evaluation activities and collaborating with Systems Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Perform data analysis to support certification decisions
Assist in the development and updating of test plans, procedures, and test cases
Execute lab tests, generating SITREPs, quick look reports, and comprehensive test reports
Participate in various review boards and assessments, including Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Mission Readiness Assessments (MRAs)
Travel to land-based test sites and supporting at-sea test events
Document Test Observation Reports (TORs) and providing recommendations for issue severity and probability
Work within a multi-contractor/government-integrated test team, supporting government test directors with backup data, research, and analysis to inform software certification decisions
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of general experience in engineering, design, development, or testing and evaluation of Navy combat systems
Three (3) years in tandem of recent experience in any of the following:
Test requirements definition
Test Plan/Procedures development, maintenance, and execution
Test data reduction and analysis
Computer program performance analysis and reporting
Simulations
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
Operational experience with LCS Combat System and Elements and familiarity with some of the following is desired:
BL 1 Integrated Management Combat System (ICMS) (Independence variant)
COMBATSS-21 baseline (BL) 3.2 (Freedom Variant)
Sensor operations Air and Surface (both Independence and Freedom variants)
SEARAM, IFF, Electronic warfare, MDLMS (Independence), CDLMS (Freedom),
Navigation, GCCS-M,
System Track Management (covers ID, correlation, decorrelation, etc.)

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and have a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
Ability to transit within a Navy ship and access any space or location.
