MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Cyberspace Training Specialist to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. This is an onsite position.

The Lead Cyberspace Training Specialist will support the Integrated Cyber Education, Development & Training (ICED-T) program at U.S. Cyber Command.  This role will lead the delivery of course curriculum, training and proficiency standards, instructional services, and joint curriculum for advanced cyber work. The Lead Cyberspace Training Specialist shall also lead contractor interaction with DoD and non-DoD organizations to provide guidance and expertise in training strategy development for USCYBERCOM J7 activities. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide cyber force development training support to USCYBERCOM J7 and other identified stakeholders (including foreign partners). The cyber training support shall include updating and sustaining certification standards for the CMF Teams, supporting course curriculum development and validation, and updating and sustaining the Command’s Joint Training Policy. 

  • Update and maintain COF training and proficiency standards and criteria, annually, based on current manuals, instructions, CFCOE, CONOPs, TTPs, and other Government-directed sources, as determined and approved by the Government.

  • Support the validation of CMF curriculum by developing, updating, and maintaining training courses including, but not limited to, templates, presentations, videos, interactives, case studies, and additional training materials that focus on USCYBERCOM and DoD SOPs and full-spectrum military tools and TTPs to train stakeholders.

  • Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and project plans for various emerging requirements supporting JFT implementation including transition to a single JCL and assumption of additional responsibilities associated with COF. 

  • Develop joint curriculum for advanced cyber work roles IAW the Secretary of Defense decision to consolidate curriculum development with USCYBERCOM as the single JCL for training. 

  • Responsible for providing a full scope of training scheduling services including student records, rosters, records and registration information requests, registrations, withdrawals, and registration questions. 

  • Establish and maintain training records for all training courses and provide briefings on the course curriculum or training records.

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of total experience with 3+ years of experience in workforce development including planning and
    coordinating across multiple agencies

  • 3+ years of experience managing teams in a training environment

  • Experience in leading complex training events, exercises, or real-world mission rehearsals

  • Skilled at documenting training effectiveness metrics, course evaluations, and readiness assessments

  • Strong collaboration skills with military leaders, interagency partners, and technical staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4+ years of experience in a cyberspace environment

  • Experience in training strategy support

  • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, GCIH, GCIA, or similar

  • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, or other combatant command cyber elements.

Security Clearance:

  • Must have active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements: 

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.  


The projected compensation range for this position is $153,300.00-$274,000.00.
