ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Cyber Planner to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Cyber Planner functions as a subject matter expert and is instrumental in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets through the development and execution of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, working in close partnership with Government stakeholders
They possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and risk management, enabling them to effectively shape and maintain a powerful security posture aligned with Government regulations and mission objectives
They are responsible for the creation and refinement of Cybersecurity Plans, policies, and procedures, as well as the proactive identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities through in-depth risk assessments and threat analyses
They integrate cybersecurity considerations into overall operational planning, ensuring seamless alignment between security and operational activities
They actively monitor and analyze threat intelligence, conduct vulnerability assessments, and provide timely threat reports and briefings to stakeholders, contributing to a proactive defense strategy
They ensure compliance with Government cybersecurity standards and regulations and are responsible for developing documentation, conducting audits, and providing comprehensive reporting on cybersecurity performance
The Cyber Planner IV takes direction from the Mission Assurance Lead
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a closely related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
12+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years of position-specific relevant experience
Professional experience in cybersecurity planning and implementation.
Demonstrated experience working within a Government operational environment or with Government cybersecurity standards. Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and threat analyses.
Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP), and best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. Experience with incident response and forensic analysis. Knowledge of Government operational planning methodologies.
Experience with specific tools used within the Government environment. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant certifications). Knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and trends. Ability to provide strategic cybersecurity guidance.
Cyber Operations experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a Component down to an O-6 Level Command is desired.
Operations and planning experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a Component down to an 0-6 Level Command is desired.
Graduate of a military Intermediate Level School, Top Level School, and or a certified school trained planner school (e.g., SAW, MAWS, JAWS, WTI)
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
