ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Cloud Architect to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Lead Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud-based solutions aligned with the organization's strategic objectives
Possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, coupled with a strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Lead the development of cloud architectures that optimize performance, security, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
Apply expertise in the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) to develop, maintain, and analyze enterprise architecture artifacts, ensuring alignment with DoD policies, standards, and guidance
Evaluate existing infrastructure, identifying opportunities for cloud migration and developing detailed architectural designs and roadmaps
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
12+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
Familiarity with DoDAF and its views, including the operational view (OV), systems view (SV), and technical standards view (TV)
Experience in developing and maintaining DoDAF-compliant architecture artifacts, such as Operational Viewpoints (OVP), Systems Viewpoints (SVP), and Capability Viewpoints (CV).
Cloud platform certification (e.g., AWS or Azure).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
Certifications related to DevOps practices, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services (compute, storage, networking, databases).
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in conducting DoDAF-based architecture assessments and gap analysis.
Knowledge of DoDAF 2.02 and its application in cloud-based and agile-informed environments.
Familiarity with DoDAF modeling tools and techniques.
Multiple cloud platform certifications (e.g., AWS and Azure). PMP. AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect–Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active/current Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
