ManTech seeks a highly skilled and experienced Launch Vehicle Integration Digital Engineer or subject matter expert to lead the development of innovative analytical approaches for spacecraft and launch vehicle integration studies. The successful candidate will focus on creating and implementing advanced methodologies to ensure successful and efficient integration processes. This position can be in El Segundo, CA OR Remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement new analytical approaches for spacecraft and launch vehicle integration studies, with a focus on meeting the demands of future rapid launch cadences.
Provide expertise in modeling and simulation to support integration studies, including areas such as trajectory, Coupled Loads Analysis (CLA), integrated thermal analysis, vibration analysis (sine and random), acoustic analysis, shock analysis, and EMI/EMC analysis.
Contribute to the development of spacecraft and launch vehicle requirements models, potentially utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
Utilize expertise in system requirements modeling, verification, and validation in the context of integration.
Address integration challenges related to vibration, acoustic, and shock environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or bachelor's degree in STEM field, with a focus on structural dynamics, aerospace systems, or a relevant specialization.
12+ years as systems engineer, technical PM or other related areas
Extensive experience in spacecraft and launch vehicle design, analysis, and testing, with a strong emphasis on integration-related activities.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new analytical approaches and methodologies.
Solid understanding of system requirements modeling, verification, and validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the integration of spacecraft and launch vehicles in support of rapid launch programs.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The person in this position may occasionally be required to support mission integration meetings and walkdowns at various launch processing facilities.
