ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Training Developer to join our team. This position will be located onsite in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists senior Training Developers in the creation of training videos and materials for a military audience, working under the guidance of experienced team members
Support operations within an agile-informed Software Development Lifecycle Framework, learning and applying development processes
Assist in consulting with Instructors and subject matter experts to gather instructional requirements and data
Use educational technologies to support various learning modalities under the supervision of Senior Developers
Collaborate with the technical design team to produce media that meets instructional goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in a relavent field or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Familiarity with different training delivery methods (e.g., classroom, online, blended).
Willingness to learn and use educational technologies and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with instructional design technology (e.g., audiovisual).
Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Basic video editing skills.
Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools. CompTIA CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) (or working toward it).
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
