ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Graphic Artist to join our team in Stafford, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creates visual design elements for assigned projects and programs under the guidance of senior Designers, working collaboratively with the team to ensure visual alignment with organizational goals
Use state-of-the-art design tools to produce deliverables according to provided specifications
Primarily create visual assets for training programs, including graphics, icons, illustrations, and basic e-learning module elements
Assist in maintaining visual consistency and brand adherence in training materials by using existing graphic assets and templates
Work closely with Instructional Designers and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of learning objectives and content needs
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and develop their creative design skills
Assist senior Designers in the development of larger projects and in the creation of interactive e-learning modules
Support the development of videos and animations for training purposes by preparing basic multimedia assets
Learn to optimize multimedia assets for different delivery platforms
Actively seek knowledge of current trends and best practices in graphic design and multimedia development
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. necessary or 4 years of additional experience in a related field in lieu of a bachelors
Relevant Graphic Artist experience.
Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
Experience with e-learning authoring tools.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Portfolio showcasing design projects.
Familiarity in a illustration, motion graphics, or UI/UX design. Experience with cybersecurity-related projects (e.g., infographics on online safety, banners for security awareness campaigns.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
