ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Project Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides support to Project Managers and Senior Analysts in the execution of assigned Project Plans
Assist in the development and execution of engineering, training, and lifecycle sustainment plans and activities, under the guidance of Senior Analysts
Contribute to team visibility by assisting with project timeframes, objectives, and effective team communications
Create and manage project documentation and reports, collecting, verifying, and analyzing data to support efficient project execution
Track, forecast, and report on project progress, including metrics and potential challenges, under the supervision of Senior Analysts
Maintain current knowledge on the requirements applicable to each project and actively participate in project meetings and discussions
Role focuses on developing proficiency in project analysis and support, with increasing responsibility for data accuracy and process adherence
Work under the direction of Project Managers and Senior Analysts, contributing to team objectives and building experience in project management methodologies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field necessary to assume Project Analyst duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position-specific Project Analyst experience
Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Experience in supporting Project Managers with planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities. Ability to interpret Project Plans and translate them into actionable tasks.
Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation and reports; proficiency in using spreadsheet software and project management tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Familiarity with specific industry or domain knowledge relevant to the projects (e.g., engineering, training, lifecycle sustainment).
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira). Proficiency in data visualization tools.
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives. Project Management Professional (PMP). Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
