ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Graphic Artist to join our team. This position will be located onsite in Stafford, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conceptualizes and creates visual design elements for incorporation into assigned projects and programs, working closely with end users and business stakeholders to ensure visual alignment with organizational goals
Experienced in using state-of-the-art design tools to produce deliverables
Create visual assets for training programs, including graphics, icons, illustrations, e-learning module elements, presentations, infographics, job aids, and visual guides
Assist in maintaining visual consistency and brand adherence in training materials and use existing graphic assets and templates effectively
Work closely with Instructional Designers and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and content needs
Assist in the development of larger projects and in the creation of interactive e-learning modules using authoring tools
Prepare multimedia assets for different delivery platforms
They contribute to the development of DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) visualizations, creating clear and informative diagrams and models that effectively communicate architectural concepts and relationships
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field or 4+ years of related experience.
4+ years of relevant graphic design experience.
Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). Basic knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
Ability to create basic architectural diagrams and models using DoDAF notation.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in graphic design, visual Communications, or a related field.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and understanding of adult learning principles.
Specialization in illustration, motion graphics, or UI/UX design. Experience with cybersecurity-related projects (e.g., infographics on online safety, banners for security awareness campaigns).
Growing familiarity with different DoDAF viewpoints and their applications.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
