Description & Requirements
Currently, our Naval Aviation Division is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Integrated Government Scheduler to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position providing support to NAVAIR’s Mission Support / APSD organization. This position is 100% onsite. Individual must be able to report to customer site five (5) days per week.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collecting requirements from technical subject matter experts and translating into information used in developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing networked Integrated Government Schedules (IGS).
Will assist in updating the status of an evaluation milestone schedule & program IGS and assist in providing OnePager summary views from theses schedules.
Responsible for developing/assisting in responding to frequent ad-hoc scheduling requests from project schedules. These schedules are comprised of one to two medium sized efforts and two small IS project schedules.
Identifying, evaluating, and presenting critical/driving path analysis and provide “What If” scenarios if needed.
Communicating schedule status during in-person and virtual meetings, via telephone, and email.
Formatting and presenting schedule information and data using a variety of tools such as Microsoft Office Suit, OnePager, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
Facilitating meetings in support of schedule processes, which include various program/project stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
A of five (5) years of experience as an IGS developer
Must have experience with networked schedule development, critical path method, developing baseline and status using milestones, task, duration, lead/lag, and other data points of schedule development, maintenance, and analysis
Bachelor’s Degree in areas related to math, science, statistics, or engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OnePager Professional
Knowledge and familiarity with DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
Knowledge and familiarity with aircraft systems and components
Knowledge and familiarity with prototyping and manufacturing
Knowledge and familiarity with PowerBI
Experience with technical program management support.
Experience interfacing with senior level customers, providing analysis of schedule, schedule drivers/impacts, and providing possible improvement/resolution/mitigation solutions.
Master’s Degree in math, science, statistics, or engineering desired, but not required.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
Tasking is primarily computer based.
The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
