ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Specialist II to join our team in MacDill, Florida. This is an onsite position.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives
Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools
Tests and debugs programs and scripts and prepares instruction for use during network exploitation activities
Applies knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine, and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure
Assists in the planning and implementation of requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, or, High School Diploma and 6 years of additional experience, or, Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
5+ years of related experience with responsibilities listed above
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Holds one of the following certifications: CISSP/CISM/CISA/GCIH/SEC+
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
