MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Imaging Specialist Technician to join our team in Chantilly, VA. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Install and configure application software for classified and unclassified desktop and laptop computer systems including peripheral equipment, store digital image files on various digital media

• Plan, coordinate, provide operational maintenance for software loading and upgrades for office applications and Windows 11, SUN Solaris™, UNIX, and LINUX or later software.

• Determine cost effective equipment techniques and sources used in support of PC computers (Windows 11, SUN Solaris™, UNIX, and LINUX or later based computer platforms).

• Analyze and isolate classified and unclassified computer hardware problems.

• Install, test, modify, upgrade, and troubleshoot classified and unclassified computers and peripherals connected in a network environment; use hardware and software to fine-tune original digital image for color and resolution and perform quality assurance.

• Assist in establishing standard configuration environment files for integrated multi-vendor computer platforms.

• Digitize images into databases for preservation and enhancement by imaging software; maintain records of workflow; image creation and storage of digital files.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Experience imaging and testing computer system images.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.

• Commensurate experience and education.

• Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, MS MCT, MS Endpoint Administrator, CSM, etc.) highly preferred.

• Experience training end users on complex hardware and software solutions.

• Experience with Active Directory management.

• Knowledge of relational databases, Oracle, SQL, SQL queries

• Experience performing scripting (JavaScript, VB Script, Python, LUA, etc.).

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to physically lift equipment weight up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to perform installation work in constrained spaces like under work desks, in small cubicles, and counter window environments.

• Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.

• Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.

• Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.

• Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.

• Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.

• Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc.

• The majority of work will be performed within a professional office environment. However, warehouse tasks can require the individual to lift and move computer and other equipment up to 50 lbs.in weight, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded. Position may require bending, kneeling, or crawling to get to cables under/behind furniture and server racks.
