Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Help Desk II to join our team in the Fort Huachuca, AZ area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Excellent communications skills: Written and Verbal
CompTIA Security+ or higher certification to meet DoD 8570 certification criteria (IAT level 2 at a minimum)
Must be trained and familiar with DCGS-A Baseline v3.2.5 (service pack 1) administration and maintenance.
Technical Proficiency in developing and managing Microsoft Windows 2019 Server, VMWare v7.0, and PostgreSQL database software.
Manage monthly security and application patches for the Support Center’s servers.
Experience with production system roadmaps including patch management timelines, software reviews, change management, and IA review.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Proficiency with as many of the following items: Linux, Windows Server, overall systems and network administration, group policy management, virtual machines, firewall management, building and managing images, HBSS/AESS, security protocols, Cisco, Active Directory, Domain Naming Service (DNS), Private Key Infrastructure (PKI), PostgreSQL, and SQL Server (preferably within the structure of the DCGS-A software baseline but not required)
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in STEM and 2 years of experience; HS and 8 years of experience; Associates and 6 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
IAT Level II certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Atlassian products, specifically Jira and Confluence
Knowledgeable with DCGS-A Baseline v3.2.5 (service pack 1)
Be familiar with Microsoft Windows 2012 R2/2016 Server, Microsoft Windows 10, & RedHat (RHEL) 6/7/8 operating system (OS) administration and associated hardware
CISCO networking, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
Be familiar with Army and DoD security policy/manuals and other IA guiding policy documents.
Be familiar with DoD and Army networking environment; using networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
Professional Certifications (A+, Network +, VMWare, Computing Environment, etc.) beneficial
