ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Hardware Engineer to join our team in the Annapolis Junction area.

In this role, you will lead and support critical hardware engineering efforts, including system integration, field support, and equipment logistics across multiple sites.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Travel 10%–20% CONUS/OCONUS as required to rack and stack hardware, interpret CRLs, and cable racks based on technical documentation
Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with multiple organizations during TDY assignments
Manage hardware-related ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets and provide regular updates to the customer
Provide technical direction for the development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems
Plan all phases of hardware projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and tracking performance parameters
Perform engineering reviews of deployment packages submitted by customers to identify and resolve inconsistencies
Collaborate with the systems engineering team to develop and validate hardware drawing packages
Complete documentation to obtain shipment approvals for pre-staging equipment and communicate updates on MDATs and TOEs
Perform maintenance, sustainment, and replacement of failed hardware (Break/Fix support)
Develop logistical strategies and schedules for all managed equipment
Organize and direct hardware installations across multiple sites
Establish and follow formal procedures for coordinating system integration among various teams, ensuring interface coverage
Minimum Qualifications:
Twenty (20) years of experience as a Hardware Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Demonstrated experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
Five (5) additional years of systems engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NLYTE
Familiarity with JIRA
Proficiency in ServiceNow
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
