Description & Requirements

ManTech is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist that will support our offices in Stafford, VA. As the Receptionist, you will play a key role in a wide range of duties and most importantly present the first impression of the organization not only internally but to external visitors, Executives and customers.

The primary responsibilities include the day-to-day support of the reception desk and office administration. In addition, the Receptionist provides cross-functional support to employees on site to include but not limited to Facilities, Human Resources, Business Operations and Security. All relative duties are highlighted below:

This position is 100% onsite.


Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Manages Front Desk operations including, but not limited to: answering phone calls, greeting visitors, performing check-in and check-out procedures for incoming and outgoing visitors.

  • Coordinates office access for incoming visitors and meeting room attendees, ensuring all entries are appropriately logged in the daily visitor report.

  • Schedules conference room meetings in the calendar as requested by Program Managers and Division Managers.

  • Assists with organizing and coordination of conferences, meetings, and other events as needed.

  • Maintains inventory of office and kitchen supplies, placing restocking requests as needed.

  • Acts as the facilities liaison for tracking and resolving requests such as workstations assignments, refreshment vending, service calls for office equipment and furniture, building maintenance requests, etc.

  • Monitors building conditions daily, remedy or report all found issues during walkthroughs to direct manager.

  • Escorts vendors and service providers as requested by direct manager and Division Managers.

  • Supports and assists other members of the Facilities team as requested by direct manager.

  • Ability to manage and tolerate stress

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional personal presentation

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel in an efficient and concise manner.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
