MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Financial Performance Closeout Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This is a hybrid position (1-2 days on site as needed)

We are looking for someone who can bring considerable data analytics expertise and can successfully build trusted relationships with our internal clients. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and will thrive by using problem-solving skills to help create innovative process improvement solutions for the financial management of various programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Have a clear understanding about researching and analyzing programs, especially the financial aspects of program performance (full life cycle through Contract Close Out).

  • Work in conjunction with Sector finance teams by providing analytics and reporting to ensure that financial elements are accounted for prior to closeout within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines. Gather inputs from contracts, project and program managers. Advise of any issues impacting results.

  • Meet accounting Close Cycle deadlines and ability to work in fast paced environment with strong attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.

  • Understand, analyze, and explain Unbilled and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) analysis with proactive actions to monitor, improve or maintain. Assist with special projects and remediation activities as needed. Build, maintain and manage tracking and reconciliation workbooks.

  • Ensure strict compliance with ManTech’s policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience

  • Strong data mining and analytical skills

  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel including at minimum use of PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and various other functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government contracting preferred

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to provide accurate information in these situations
