MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team onsite in Washington, DC.
In this role, you will apply your financial expertise to guide business decisions, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide financial insights to drive operational efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure sound financial stewardship and reporting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Leading budget formulation, execution, and reporting for complex projects or portfolios
· Preparing, coordinating, and documenting advanced financial analysis projects including performance metrics, depreciation, and return on investment
· Providing analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related initiatives
· Identifying trends in competitive environments and presenting actionable insights to senior leadership
· Performing financial forecasting, reconciliation of internal accounts, and managing monthly reporting processes
· Collaborating across departments to ensure accurate financial data and support strategic planning
· Acting as a subject matter expert on complex financial matters and serving in a team lead capacity when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
· 4+ years of relevant experience. A total of fourteen (14) years of relevant experience may satisfy degree requirements.
· Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles
· Proficient in financial systems and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
· Strong communication and presentation abilities; capable of interacting with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with the US Navy, including on active duty, government civilian, or support contractor
· Experience working with US Navy Program Managers in an analyst role
· Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
· CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification
· Experience in government contracting or federal financial management
· Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CAS, and other regulatory frameworks
Clearance Requirements:
· Must hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
· The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
· Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,500.00-$144,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
