Description & Requirements
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Technician to join our team in Altadena, California.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Resolves a broad range of technical issues in support of customer’s computer and mobile hardware, software and network related issues
Install, configure and troubleshoot software
Maintain and update records and tickets using ServiceNow
Provides support on an as needed basis outside of normal business hours
Learn customers hardware and software environment to assist in manufacturing and fabrication support
Alerts management to issues that may require escalation with details of the situation
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years desktop systems support experience in mid-to-large environments.
At least one Technical Certification such as:
Apple (ACMT, ACSP)
Windows (MCSE, MOS)
CompTIA A+
Experience using the ServiceNow problem/ticket management systems
Strong understanding of Apple 15.3.1 Sequoia
Experience with desktop imaging process and provisioning and managing computers in an Active Directory environment
Familiar with Windows 11, Linux-RedHat 7, Apple Jamf, Personal Identification Verification (PIV), Two Factor Authentication
Experience with supporting Mobile Devices
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or associate degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust prior to starting this position
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
