ManTech seeks a strategic and dynamic Executive Director of Business Development & Capture - Intelligence Community to join our Intel Sector Growth team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid role with onsite presence required as needed, which may vary week by week.
As an Executive Director of Business Development & Capture, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding ManTech’s footprint in the Intelligence Community (IC). You will lead business development efforts and capture activities within the IC related to ManTech core competencies: Cyber, Data and AI, Digital Transformation, and Intelligent Systems Engineering (ISE). You will report to the Intel Sector Vice President of Growth and work closely with the Vice President/Division Manager for National Intelligence Solutions to develop an executable Market Account Plan that focuses on identifying, qualifying, and winning new business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build and qualify a pipeline of opportunities aligned with ManTech’s core competencies, developing strategies to shape business efforts and gain competitive intelligence
Develop and implement Customer Engagement Plans agency-wide and on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis to engage clients in identifying and shaping opportunities
Present briefings to leadership, outlining business cases and value propositions to support investments towards capture and bid decisions
Drive company branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White Papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses, and industry group participation to gain insight into near/long-term customer & mission needs
Identify technology and staffing gaps, vet teaming partners, and drive capture activities to develop win strategies and competitive assessments that enhance the probability of a win
Acquire in-depth knowledge of ManTech’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives, working closely with operations teams to provide solutions to our clients
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience within the Intelligence Community, specifically within the private sector, focused on Virginia based Intel Community agencies
3+ years of relevant Business Development experience supporting Virginia based Intel Community agencies, with a proven track record of identifying and capturing opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute strategies that lead to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.
Demonstrated ability to interact at senior levels of business and the government
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.
Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers.
Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
