ManTech is seeking an experience and passionate, career and customer-oriented End User Device Technician to join our team at Alaska . The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting all desktop devices to include desktop VTCs and associated equipment, such as MFDs, laptops, and conference rooms. What separates you from other candidates is a demonstration of networking experience, teaming skills, customer interaction, a strong sense of urgency, and a willingness to learn new technologies The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides installation/troubleshooting support to VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices as requested, and completes associated cabling work.
Travel required to support Regional objectives.
Supports refresh, modernization, projects, and STO activities as required.
Travels to support other locations within the area as needed.
Follows proper processes of equipment classification and sanitization.
Conducts equipment surveys, inventories, completes database updates, and assists with logistical services for associated equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess an IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security + (must obtain within 6 months of start).
Experience or willingness to learn Installation/troubleshooting of end user devices such as VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices and completion of associated cabling work.
Customer facing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting CAN networking requirements.
Experience with a ticketing system.
Quality cabling skills in installation, splicing, and fabrication.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
