MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electronic Warfare Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Fallon, NV. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in EW (Electronic Warfare), providing guidance across the entire EW lifecycle from concept to deployment
Lead the research, analysis, and development of advanced EW techniques, including Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Support (ES)
Design, model, and simulate complex EW systems and scenarios to assess performance, identify vulnerabilities, and optimize operational effectiveness
Analyze threat signals and develop countermeasures, including jammers, decoys, and stealth technologies
Conduct in-depth analysis of RADAR, communication, and navigation systems to understand their vulnerabilities to EW
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., hardware, software, systems engineering) to integrate EW capabilities into platforms and systems
Develop and review technical specifications, test plans, and system documentation for EW programs
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for EW systems during development, testing, and field operations
Stay abreast of emerging EW technologies, threat landscapes, and industry trends to inform strategic planning and capability roadmaps
Develop and deliver technical briefings, training, and mentorship to internal teams and external stakeholders
Participate in relevant industry forums, conferences, and working groups to represent organizational interests and gather intelligence
Ensure compliance with all relevant security classifications and regulatory requirements for EW activities
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience in Electronic Warfare, with a strong emphasis on EW systems design, analysis, and implementation
Experience in RF engineering, signal processing, antenna theory, and/or electromagnetics as applied to EW
Proven understanding of various EW system types, including radar warning receivers (RWR), electronic countermeasures (ECM), electronic support measures (ESM), and communication jammers
Proficiency with EW modeling and simulation tools such as (MATLAB, Simulink, HFSS, ADS, SystemVue, or custom-developed tools)
Strong knowledge of modern communication and radar principles, modulation schemes, and digital signal processing (DSP) techniques
Experience with real-time embedded systems and software-defined radio (SDR) platforms for EW applications
Ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative, data-driven solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex EW concepts to diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Experience with specific military standards
Prior experience in a defense contracting, government, or military EW role
Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
