Description & Requirements
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electronic Maintenance Technician to join our team in Crane, IN. This is an onsite position.
This role supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) legacy workload in troubleshooting and repairing radar legacy systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interpreting and integrating hardware based on drawings, system wiring diagrams, and interface circuit boards
Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Abiding by all Electronic Discharge processes and procedures while handling Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)
Soldering to revised printed circuit boards
Completing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), High voltage training, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and associated training within first 30 days of employment
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant engineering and electronic experience OR Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of relevant engineering and electronic experience
1+ years of experience in reading, understanding, and creating technical drawings (schematics) of electrical equipment
Must possess both the IPC J-STD-001 and IPC 7711/7721 soldering certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane projects
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Wear steel toed boots daily (provided by employee)
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Work extensive time in stationary positions
Climb and descend ladders
