Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist, Information Extraction Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develops, analyzes and models operational and technical data to document ship system configuration and performance, evaluate potential operational changes, and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Designs, implements, and supports data pipelines from both public and non-public data sources.
Designs, implements, and maintains ontologies.
Applies and integrates statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis skills to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources.
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of Navy operational and management procedures..
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
Acts as a resource for colleagues and other team members.
Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) or more years of professional experience using programming languages and products such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Numpy, Requests, and/or Antigravity.
5+ years of experience with data science, statistics, and graph algorithms to support analytics objectives.
2+ years of experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
2+ years of professional experience performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Data Modeling.
2+ years of experience in corpus development or data cleaning.
1+ years of experience developing or applying Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR&R) tools, techniques, and algorithms.
1+ years of experience developing High Performance Computing (HPC) codes and/or optimizing parallelization and storage aspects of HPC processing pipelines.
Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program, or MS Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, Security+ CE).
Clearance Requirements:
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
