Description & Requirements

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Engineer to provide unparalleled support to ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Data Engineer III designs, implements, and maintains data infrastructure and systems.

  • They collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand their data needs and create efficient solutions to extract, transform, load, link, and/or visualize data from various sources.

  • The Data Engineer III also ensures data governance practices are incorporated into the design and implementation of data-intensive systems.

  • The Data Engineer III receives direction from senior staff and provides supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

  • They collaborate with other Data Engineer IIIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.

  • 5 years of position-relevant work experience. 

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Stationary work at an office desk setting 50% of time

  • Traversing to accomplish tasks by moving from one work site to another or between different floors in a building

  • Communicating with others to exchange information

  • Ability to perceive and assess employee productivity
