MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyberspace Joint Operations Planner to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. This is an onsite position supporting the Integrated Cyber Education, Development & Training (ICED-T) program at U.S. Cyber Command.
This role will lead/support customer engagement, event design, event execution, and event analysis for USCYBERCOM J7.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide Joint Training Plan (JTP) services, implementing the four-phase Joint Training System (JTS) methodology (Requirements, Plans, Execution, and Assessment), to align joint training strategy with assigned missions and produce trained and ready individuals, staffs, and units, accomplishing USCYBERCOM Campaign Plan (CP) Intermediate Military Objectives (IMOs) and Annual Campaign Order (ACO) tasks, and advancing Partner Nation (PN) capabilities.
Support the activities of the supported organizations’ (SECDEF and CJCS) exercise initiatives and other CCMD joint training exercises throughout their Joint Event Life Cycles as directed by the government.
Provide war game and tabletop exercise (TTX) services in support of USCYBERCOM CCMD and JFP force development initiatives.
Support development and delivery of seminar vignette concepts, overall game mechanics, presentation material, planning, and documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing complex cyber OCO/DCO training and exercise evaluations
3+ years of experience leading teams supporting operations/exercises
Joint Operations Planner experience in a minimum of two CCMD areas of responsibility
Deep understanding of the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
Understanding of cyberspace capabilities and their employment within joint military operations
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience planning, conducting, or directly supporting cyber operations at the tactical or operational level
Advanced knowledge of cyber domain including how cyberspace operations are conducted on the network
Experience at a USCYBERCOM and/or a Service Cyber Component in training strategy support
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience supporting a Command Lessons Learned Program
Clearance Requirements:
Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,500.00-$210,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
