ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. Cyber Security engineers are responsible for the quality of solution delivery, development, testing and deployment of Cyber-related solutions as part of an Identity and Access Management program. They are involved in creating quality solution components based on the provided requirements to support Cyber efforts. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cyber Security Engineering
Ability to work in LINUX environment
Support of implementation and operations of a Privileged User Management (PAM) solution
Analyzing existing applications to extract and optimize functionalities
Analyzing user stories, use cases and requirements for validity and feasibility
Collaborating closely with other Cyber engineers in various cyber security efforts including Identity and Access Management related software, testing, and system engineering
Familiarity with Ansible set up and configuration
Working knowledge of databases and LDAP directory services
Developing automated deployment scripts when needed
Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
Applying quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Providing support and documentation in coordination with the development, testing and deployment teams
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related fields
10+ years of experience as a Cyber security engineer/Software/Systems Engineer or similar role.
Experience with Linux
Experience with Splunk
Experience with LDAP
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Have or able to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire.
Security Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with/Poly
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
